    When you supply any personal information I have a legal obligation towards the you in the way that I keep that data.  I must explain to you how I will collect and store the information and tell you if I want to pass the information onto anyone else.

    Matthew Hart, Educational Psychologist:

    • is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulations, is registered with the Information Commissioners Office and is the Data Controller for his practice
    • will keep a note of all reports given to parents in electronic form to support the advice that he gives to parents and schools.
    • will ensure that electronic records are held in only one physical location and are not carried on laptops or memory sticks outside of the practice office at the above address
    • will only distribute reports to parents/carers who have commissioned a report and no third parties. Parents/carers may choose to distribute the reports
    • where schools have commissioned a report, Matthew Hart will distribute reports to schools and schools are responsible for storing the report securely uncirculated report to parents
    • will ensure that no other information on your child in paper or electronic form will be held by Matthew Hart, no reports from schools and open for other professionals.
    • Parents are entitled to access the child's reports at any time
    • files will be From minimum seven years that can be deleted at any time at the written request of parents or carers
    • will request permission from parents/carers directly to access information from other professionals and to distribute information to other professionals
    • will ensure that reports will be distributed by email in PDF form and password protected and student names will not be used in the email title. Reports will only be distributed from the practice server.

    We respect your privacy. Any personal or company details received via our website will only be used by us in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not sell or otherwise give away your private information to any third parties. The details provided will only be used to update you regularly with details of our services and products.
