I have been using psychology to help people reach their potential for over 25 years in a multitude of settings with all age groups including:

- • Working in a large residential hospital with residents with learning difficulties and mental health problems of all ages to help them reduce their challenging behaviour by improving their communication skills and improving their relationship with care staff
- • Being an Assistant House Leader in a Barnardo’s home helping young people integrate back into the community from long-stay hospitals, liaising with health and social-care professionals and ensuring the young people had a great quality of life
- • Working in the USA in a hospital helping coordinate and provide palliative and emotional care for the elderly patients and liaising with relatives
- • Four years teaching science and geography in a Southwark secondary school
- • Four years teaching pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties in a special school in Islington, liaising with parents, social care, psychotherapists and creating a varied curriculum to help improve learning and provide opportunities to modify behaviour

I have been an Educational Psychologist since qualifying in 1999 and have been in private practice now since 2012 working with schools, children and legal terms for tribunal work. I am a qualified psychotherapist.
I have an interest in therapeutic approaches including CBT and Psychodynamics and was a volunteer therapist for 3 years at a centre working with adolecent and adult refugees who had experienced severe trauma. I qualified as a Psychotherapist in March 2021.
I am registered with the:

I have a full enhanced Criminal Record Bureau check available upon request.
